This is my cheap desktop speakers project using fullrange Tectonic TEBM65C20F-8 drivers. Enclosure is super-simple ~1 liter closed boxes made of 18mm MDF. I used Equalizer APO to gain some bass.
The project is super easy and quite cheap - the drivers and enclosure are about $60. No crossover since the drivers are fullrange speakers. I spent about $70 on a NFJ&FxAudio FX502S PRO amplifier on TPA3250 chip.
In my opinion the system is decent for non-critical listening during work hours.
The reverberation from the desk is quite strong, but bearable if the sound isn't very loud.
I recorded the speakers using Oktava MK012 microphones and Presonus AudioBox USB 96.
