We drove a 2020 Silverado 2500 with Chevy trailering systems engineer Frank Bruneel to try out the truck’s new trailer assist technology. With eight cameras providing up to 15 different views and new trailer app features, Frank provided plenty of info and tips for using Chevy’s latest towing technology while we tried our best to avoid crushing his cones. Chevy asked that we invite someone with little to no towing experience. My brother John was the first person that came to mind. We were both impressed with Chevy’s various camera views especially Transparent Trailer which instantly kicks up your confidence level by revealing exactly what’s behind you—like Frank’s traffic cones!
