Some of TV’s most memorable characters are often those who don makeup from head to toes, or whose most recognisable features are edited out. Aside from possibly not being recognised, some of these actors go through gruelling processes only to achieve these looks. Voldemort, the infamous villain from the Harry Potter franchise, wasn’t an easy look to come by. The Voldemort costume and Voldemort makeup took hours to do, and even then there was still some CGI to be done to bring justice to the most hated character in the wizarding world of JK Rowling. We first got to know Vision in Avengers, but now he’s the main character in WandaVision, and Paul Bettany is forced to get into the Vision costume on a daily basis. The pain really irritates his skin, just like the blue paint irritated Jennifer Lawrence when she played Mystique in x-men. The mystique costume took hours to paint her entire body, and she even got blisters. The Beauty and the Beast costume department wasn’t as busy when filming the Disney live-action film, but actor Dan Stevens had to walk around on set on stilts. This scared Emma Watson, as she was afraid he would step on her toes when dancing. Tom Hopper, the actor who plays Luther Hargreeves in Umbrella Academy, has to wear a heavy, hot gorilla suit which makes it impossible to go to the bathroom. Want to know more costume secrets?
