Royal Caribbean International announces a shift to app-exclusive check-in for certain 2024 voyages departing from Vancouver, British Columbia. This new policy aims to streamline passenger verification, onboard account setup, and health screenings, facilitating a smoother and more efficient embarkation process. Guests unable to use the app can still check in manually at the terminal. Check-in via the app opens 45 days before sailing and concludes at 9 a.m. local time on departure day. The company advises guests to update the app in advance and ensure their phones are fully charged on the day of departure, while also reminding to have all necessary paper documents on hand.
