GM recently updated its highly-praised Super Cruise assisted driving system to now include automated lane changes much like Tesla's Autopilot Full Self-Driving package.

Super Cruise now has Adaptive Cruise Control with Automated Lane Centering and Automated Lane Changing, bringing it closer to Tesla's Full Self-Driving offering. However, it will not automatically change to faster lanes or follow a route on the freeway like Tesla's Navigate-On-Autopilot.

In addition, Super Cruise still only works on highways that have been mapped by LiDAR using a fleet of mapping vehicles (approximately 200,000 miles in the US currently). Telsa Autopilot will function on any road where lanes are clearly visible.
