The “Descendants” franchise is unlike anything we’ve ever seen. With this in mind, it isn’t hard to see why fans are going gaga over the promise of “Descendants 3”. To make matters even more hectic, the Disney channel has hinted towards releasing the 10-minute short film “Under the Sea: A Descendants Story” - and fans are losing it over its revealing content. The short film will premiere on September 28, 2018, and there’s no doubt in our minds that it will shock viewers to the core.

If there’s one mystery that’s plagued us from the start, it’s who Mal’s father is, and it’s been confirmed that “Descendants 3” will put an end to our curiosity. Until then, however, fans are left speculating about the possibilities surrounding Mal’s heritage. If you’re like us, you’re slightly confused over the fact that Mal is showcased wearing a mermaid’s tail. Luckily, the final puzzle pieces will be put together, allowing us to see the bigger picture at hand.
