Mahindra has launched the Scorpio Classic at Rs 11.99 lakh for the S variant and Rs 15.49 lakh for the S11 variant (ex-showroom). The new SUV is a rebranded version of the original Scorpio and will sit below the Scorpio N. The new Mahindra Scorpio Classic gets an updated 132hp, 300Nm, 2.2-litre turbo-diesel, Gen 2 mHawk engine that delivers the power to the rear wheels via a 6-speed manual gearbox. The updated engine is 55kg lighter than before and Mahindra claims that its fuel economy has also improved by 14 per cent.
