We Stayed at a Farm this weekend, and I'm going to give you a tour around one of my favorite places in South Carolina.

I'm taking you along for a journey to my favorite beach in South Carolina in our Overland Jeep Gladiator Build. Yes you could do this in your Family Honda! It's about 4 miles from the parking area to my favorite beach, and there is a southern entrance, but I enjoy the hike along the lagoon.

It's secluded so you'll need to bring everything you need! From Food and Water to a good pair of Hiking Shoes or bicycles and/or kayaks, If you want to get the most of your trip! I've even seen people bring their horses, but make sure you check the park website!

Good Luck finding Camping! There are camping spots and cabin rentals available, but they are in high demand. It's also a drive to the nearest hotel and grocery store, so make your visit count!

Hunting Island is a secluded State Park and one of the Series of Sea Islands that run from North Carolina to North Florida. I've been to most of the Islands and beaches on the East Coast, and I'm going to show you why Little Hunting Island and Bone Yard Beach are my Favorite.

You definitely want to go at low tide, but if you don't mind walking the beach in the cold, I've been there year round including January and February. The beach is a great place to listen to the waves, clear your head from day to day stressors, and if you're into wildlife or photography; this is the place for you. The admission fees aren't too expensive and it helps sustain the park. They are currently working to restore the lighthouse on the island, which is actually one of the tallest on the East Coast. Even if you can't go to the top, it's an amazing site and they take great care in preserving its history. Ensure you stop into the welcome center to see if you can spot the Mama Gator, take a walk out on the boardwalks, tour the island, and enjoy the best the low country has to offer! Ensure you clean up after yourself as there are sea birds, sea turtles, and other wildlife that call this home!



The Build:

For my personal setup, I chose to go with the @ClaytonOffRoad 3.5" Overland Plus Kit. They have a great reputation. James was super helpful when deciding between the HD Springs or the Normal Springs. I'm extremely happy going with the HD springs and know that I'll be able to fully load the Gladiator out in the future with the load carrying capacity to grow! I also went with the @GoRanchoSuspension RS9000XL Shocks.
