Would YOU Buy These Speakers?

IMPORTANT!
Like I said in the video, this one is all about what YOU want, and whether you would buy a pair of the speakers shown in this video. I need to see a significant number of "yes" answers to that question to go any further with the idea.
Up front, the preliminary price for the pair is in the area of $2000US.
I would have to develop the project more to pin down the price exactly, but I'm pretty sure that would be the lowest. When you compare that to what's out there now for floor-standing three-way speakers at retail prices, that's a reasonable sum.

These are a simple, elegant design with a solid wood baffle, quality high efficiency drivers and a well designed crossover that gives flat response from 65Hz to 20KHz. They have excellent on and off-axis response and can be driven to normal listening levels with a low power amp.
Sensitivity at one meter is roughly 90db at 2.83V. AKA 90db at 1 watt at 1 meter.
Nominal impedance is 8 ohms.
Power handling is higher than your ears should be hearing. These are speakers for serious listening and they have more power handling (at low distortion) than you would ever need for that.

Being open baffle, they will need a separate subwoofer crossed at 60Hz to fill in the sub bass if you want that (I would!). Any sealed or ported sub from any manufacturer should work fine for that.
Drivers are a 10" woofer, a 6" midrange and 1" dome tweeter. All are high (over 90db) sensitivity and paper cone / soft dome.
The midrange in particular covers a wide portion of the frequency range and projects detailed, realistic sound in the critical part of our hearing. The response has been precisely tuned with a wide Q notch filter to blend perfectly with the woofer and tweeter.

Other stuff: I'll be building a final version of these in the coming months and that full build will be on my main channel. I'll be doing that even if this market research shows a lack of serious interest, because these truly are excellent sounding speakers.

IF the limited production run does go ahead, I'll use that experience to decide whether I'd want to go further with making and selling speakers. A possible follow-up product could be a subwoofer specifically designed for these speakers.
As mentioned in the video, this would be a KickStarter type arrangement where you'd have to commit the full sale price (plus any applicable taxes) to secure a set. Packaging would be included in the price, but shipping would be extra.
Lower cost options would be the plans only (with list of drivers and crossover schematics), or plans plus assembled and tested crossovers for two speakers.
I'm not sure about whether this would be available to buyers outside continental North America. The shipping might be too expensive or difficult. Sorry, not my fault!

I should say that there won't be any "custom" options. The solid wood baffle will be a light coloured hardwood, like ash, oak or maple. And the body of the speakers will be MDF painted a matte black. MDF is best for this in that it adds mass to stabilize the speakers.
Likewise, the crossovers will be made from fairly standard parts - not cheap, but not the exotic placeboes that a lot of audiophiles think are needed for great sound. I have extensive experience using crossover parts of various quality and have not been able to discern a difference when comparing good quality to over-priced caps and inductors.
Long and short of it is (from my perspective) that if it sounds great, it is great. And I KNOW that greatness comes from taking extra care of the important factors, and not pandering to the often misguided view that every detail counts equally. It doesn't work that way in the real world, and it doesn't work that way for audio.
