Last year we lost about 75% of our tomatoes to bugs, birds, squirrels, snails and rats. Growing an organic vegetable crop in the city is not easy. It would be simple to spray the plants with pesticide, but I really don't want any of that in my body and I don't want to harm any beneficial insects, or other wildlife. I've tried netting the whole plants, but it's tough to trim and get fruit when you want and it's too easy for critters to find a way in the tiniest of voids. These little mesh bags should do the trick.

*Bags shown in the video are a combination of gift bags and fruit bags.
It's really just different marketing angles for the same products.
I picked the green ones, but you can choose from several colors.
