The scenery, the atmosphere, the music— Mali's Festival In The Desert was one of the most unique and exhilarating festivals of all time. The region often described as the 'spiritual birthplace of the blues' has developed many exciting genres of music, including some very badass desert guitar rock. In recent years it has been postponed indefinitely— and no, this is not due to Covid.
