I drive the 2017 Mercedes-Benz GLS550 off-road with a representative from Mercedes. It was early in the morning, but we went over all the details of this GLS model. The GLS is the replacement to the GL. This is the S-class of the Mercedes SUV lineup, so it's the luxury model. This GLS also sports the Designo option, which includes a very special paint color and an interior with a special color and open-pore wood trim. There will be a diesel version called the GLS350d coming to the US very soon!
