10 Controversies Caused by Nicktoon Cartoons! Subscribe to our channel: http://goo.gl/ho3Hg6

On the surface, Nickelodeon seems like a well-oiled machine. Cartoons are constantly being churned out and every year we seem to see a new hit premiere on the network. Over the years, we’ve enjoyed classic animations like SpongeBob Squarepants, Rugrats, Doug, and Loud House, but some of those shows may have led to the downfall of Nick. Learn the behind the scenes stories, the censored scenes, and the crazy changes made to help keep some of your favorite Nicktoons alive.

One of Nick’s most beloved cartoons is Rugrats. The mis-adventures of Tommy, Chuckie, and his baby friends was almost cut off after just a couple seasons when the creators and writers argued over Angelica. Invader Zim was hugely popular on Nick, it just skewed to the completely wrong crowd and was cancelled because of it. One of Nick’s biggest mistakes over the years was passing on the pilot of Adventure Time and allowing Cartoon Network or take over the show. Ren & Stimpy was far too mature for many children and one episode pushed the limits of this way too far. Doug was a great addition to the Nick lineup, but when the network refused to order more seasons, Disney quickly snatched the cartoon up and made it all their own. Rocko’s Modern Life had a number of strange episodes, but one actually got banned from airing and put the show in limbo. The Loud House is one of Nick’s newest hits, but the show almost crumbled at the foundation after the creator got into some major trouble. Watch to see all these controversies and several others that almost tore Nick apart!
