File Too Big For USB Drive When USB Drive Has Enough Free Space
You copy a file that is smaller than your usb drive to your usb drive and you get an error saying that there is not enough space on the usb drive. This makes no sense, there is clearly enough space on the usb key to copy your file. Why won't it let you copy over your file to the USB key.
Well the answer has nothing to do with how much room is left on your usb key. The answer is how your usb key is partitioned. If your usb key is partitioned using FAT32 format then there is a 4gb cap on file sizes that can be copied over to the partition. You need a partition editing tool like
