In this video, I teach you how to open your gas lid in the 2020-2024 Subaru Forester, Outback and Ascent. In the previous models, there was a release on the floorboard of the Subaru models to release the gas lid. They got rid of that lever. Now when it's time to fill up your gas tank you'll want to unlock the doors. Once you hit the unlock button on the driver door the gas lid automatically unlocks. You walk up to the gas lid and push it and it will pop open. Once you lock your doors the gas lid will lock with the rest of the doors and your gas lid will not open when a thief goes to push it. That is how you open the gas lid on the 2020 Subaru Outback, Forester and Ascent. I hope this video helped you.
