Since the release, the "Fifty Chicks" trilogy has been translated into 51 languages worldwide and sold more than 100 million copies in e-book and print— that's something to crow about!

This film adaptation stars Anastasia Cheep and Cluckin Grey, played by Pearl and Big Momma. That is correct, both chickens were actually played by hens.

No animals were harmed during the filming of this video. In fact, both girls fell asleep. The chicks are now full grown and are happy and healthy grazing in a green, weedy pasture in California. The chicks are Buff Orpingtons.
