The 2025 VW ID. Buzz electric minivan enters the U.S. market later this year, offering a three-row, long-wheelbase version tailored for American families. The unmistakable design of the ID. Buzz, seen here in the Cabana Blue finish, is differentiated with a funky and emotional design that is a welcome change from the raft of mean-looking front-ends in today's crossovers and SUVs. The electric minivan's length of 192.4 inches ensures ample space, while the design pays homage to the original VW Bus with distinctive features like backlit logos, 20-inch wheels, and unique lighting.
On to the interior, and the ID. Buzz offers a welcoming cabin with light upholstery, faux wood accents, and a large panoramic sunroof. The reinvented Electric VW Bus provides flexible seating options, including a 2+3+2 arrangement or captain’s chairs. Removable console, climate control, a high-end audio system, and the IQ.DRIVE assistance system.
The ID. Buzz electric minivan will be available in 282 hp rear-wheel and 330 hp all-wheel drive configurations, both powered by a 82 kWh battery, promising up to 260 miles of range. With an expected starting price of around $60,000, the ID. Buzz needs local production to leverage federal tax incentives in the future.
