Volkswagen has made some tweaks to their ID.4 Pro S AWD since we drove it last year, allowing James a chance to go over all the good, and bad that comes with the 2023 Volkswagen ID.4 Pro S AWD.

Follow everything James is up to over on his Channel at @technicallycars to see his unique view of the vehicles he features here on PRN_TestDrive!

This video was made possible with the support of Elmec and their EVduty Smart Home Charger. You can schedule, control access, and even see your estimated charging costs from the EVduty smartphone app. Use public charging stations and grant access to your own all from the app. For more information about the EVduty Smart Home Charger visit: https://www.elmec.ca/language/en/

We had the chance to drive the 2022 Volkswagen ID.4 Pro S AWD a year ago, the first of VW's new electric vehicles meant to be the EVs for the people. We had a few complaints about the vehicle when it came to cost cutting measures, but for the most part found this EV to be pretty spot on when it comes to what the majority of buyers would be looking at in terms of a new electric vehicle. Fast forward one model year and VW has made a couple small changes to the vehicle and changed up some paint colours.

James goes over the exterior design and features of the 2023 VW ID.4 Pro S AWD along with his thoughts on the vehicle itself. This Canadian-spec model is finished in Ice Grey Metallic paint, which is known as the Arctic Blue paint colour for USA-spec vehicles. The exact interior and exterior colour combination is not available in the USA.

We then go around the whole vehicle to discuss everything about this compact electric crossover and some of the reasons why this vehicle is a popular option for those who are lucky enough to get one. James jumps inside the 2023 VW ID.4 Pro to go over the interior design and layout along with the features and tech found on this top-end model with the optional Statement Package.

We then take the 2023 Volkswagen ID.4 Pro S AWD on a real-world road test to talk about how this EV performs, drives, rides, and handles daily life in Canada, and the reasons why you may or may not want to consider this as your next car.
