As a winner of the 2023 Excellence in Theatre Education Award, Jason Zembuch Young and his students received a master class taught by Carnegie Mellon University School of Drama professors and alumnus Philippe Arroyo. The class gives the students a glimpse into the rigorous and rewarding training CMU drama students receive.

The Excellence in Theatre Education Award, presented by the Tony Awards and Carnegie Mellon University, recognizes a K-12 theatre educator in the U.S. who has demonstrated monumental impact on the lives of students and who embodies the highest standards of the profession.
