With this song about renewal and new life, I want to wish you all a happy new year, and I hope this song will bode well for a better year than 2020 was for us all...

The lyrics are made of bits taken from the Völuspá. The word “new” is actually grammatically incorrect every time it’s used, because it doesn’t match the gender of the substantives it refers to. Besides, the form “jörður” for the word “jörð” doesn’t exist.

I know a transcription in runes of such a text doesn’t really have any reason to be, if not as a treat, but yeah…that’s just what it is, bear with me.
