A strategic conversation with Nick Ogden, founder of ClearBank, as he takes us through his "What If" innovation mindset. Over the last year, he has been working with the IMF and World Bank to come up with the idea of "financial friction" which has informed his views of the crisis that has been 2020. He believes that since March or April of this year we have experienced a digital immersion that we would never have been achieved in next five years otherwise. Acceleration is now the name of the game. Where we have previously talked about looking ten years ahead in 2019, we are now looking five. While there are still the operational costs, the time is now to innovate and build the tools that will accelerate the sector.
