Adding drain tile behind a retaining wall is an excellent practice. This will not only help the water flow properly but will also ensure that your wall lasts longer.

Installing drain tile is very easy and relatively inexpensive. As long as you slope the tile properly everything will work well. Make sure you backfill with rock and gravel to help the water flow as well.
