I will share a "Hospital Bag Checklist" for you to know the essentials, commonly helpful, and nice to have things I'm bringing. -- HOSPITAL BAG CHECKLIST --

#1) ESSENTIALS aka things you truly need:
- Going home outfit for you
- Going home outfit for baby
- Car seat
- Your I.D.
- Your health insurance card/info
- Any prescriptions (for me, it’s eyeglasses and contact lenses)

#2) COMMONLY HELPFUL & you likely want to bring:
- Moisturizers (lip balm, face moisturizer, body lotion)
- 2-3 comfy outfits for you (loose pants, comfy socks, tops that allow easy skin-to-skin)
- Flip flops / sandals that allow for some swelling and that you could wear in the shower
- Shower stuff (shampoo, conditioner, body wash)
- Toothbrush and toothpaste
- Hair ties and headband
- Charger for your phone/iPad
- Extension cord

#3) “NICE TO HAVE” things I’m packing for fun :)
- Robe
- Plastic bag for dirty laundry
- Snacks!
- Cute outfits for baby
- Swaddle and blanket for baby
- Laptop / tablet for entertainment
- Fun things for a baby announcement photo (like a name tag!)
- Gift for bigger sibling(s) that’ll be “from baby”
