Resin 3d printing, what is it? How does it work? Why should you care? We cover all the basic of resin based printing. Also called SLA or MSLA printers use a fundamentally different use of technology than filament based printers. Liquid Photopolymer resin is used as the material instead of PLA or ABS plastic. Then the LCD screen below the liquid bath selectively blocks UV lights from shining into the polymer. This solidifies instantly and makes one layer! Those layers stack upon each other just like a "Normal" 3d Printer!
