Part 2 of a Three-Part Conversation with Professor Carrie Menkel-Meadow

On March 4th, 2022, the Texas A&M Law Review and the Aggie Dispute Resolution Program (law.tamu.edu/ADR) will co-host a symposium entitled The Renaissance Woman of Dispute Resolution: Carrie Menkel-Meadow’s Contributions to New Directions in Feminism, Ethics, and ADR (law.tamu.edu/CMM). We were honored to have a conversation with Professor Carrie Menkel-Meadow, the Distinguished and Chancellor’s Professor of Law at UC Irvine and one of the preeminent scholars and founders of the field of dispute resolution, as a bit of a preview to what we are sure will be an amazing event this spring!

Professor Carrie Menkel-Meadow speaks about the conflict between preparing students for the bar exam and introducing students to alternative career paths, a topic she addresses in Crisis in Legal Education or the Other Things Law Students Should be Learning and Doing, 45 MCGEORGE L. REV. 133 (2013).
