Land Rover sent over a 2020 Land Rover Defender 110 X, and we didn't take it off-roading! Instead, we put the 2020 Defender to use towing our enclosed trailer. Land Rover says the 2020 Defender can tow up to 8,201 pounds... but can it handle the aerodynamic demands of an enclosed trailer, or should you really stick to an open trailer with an SUV like this? Our Defender was equipped with the 3.0L Ingenium inline six cylinder, which is turbocharged and features a mild hybrid setup that powers a 48V electric supercharger. Yes, TFL and Doug DeMuro have purchased the 2020 Defender for long-term review, but there isn't much talk of towing enclosed trailers behind Land Rovers like this Defender. Let's see how it goes.
