Royce Mendes, managing director and head of macro strategy at Desjardins, joins BNN Bloomberg to discuss Canada's GDP for Jan. Mendes says strong numbers are supported by population growth, but once immigration caps put pressure on economy, growth will slow. He adds the BoC could soon start cutting rates to avoid a recession.
