The New South Wales Coroner Teresa O'Sullivan has completed a landmark inquest into the 1987 deaths of two Aboriginal teenagers in Bourke: Mona Lisa and Jacinta Cindy Smith.

Despite the years that have elapsed, the conduct of the inquest and the clarity of the coroner's findings have brought some restoration to the family and the community.
