This window shade from ChrisDowa is made from a 100% blackout material, which means no light can leak through it. All mounting hardware is included. This is a roller shade, which means it is not spring-loaded. There is a ball chain that you pull in one direction or the other to make the shade go up and down.

I installed this on my office window, which faces west. On sunny days, it's near impossible to read my computer screen when the sun sets. I've always had the struggle of trying to read what's there or holding my arm up to shade some light so I can read, but no more. This shade is used every sunny day that I'm at the computer when the sun is setting. It works perfectly for my needs, and I'm sure will do the trick for yours.
