Addressing a public meeting in Pune, Maharashtra, PM Modi said, “Our government is working on the principle of ‘Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas.’ Modi respects those whom previous governments never even considered. There were comrades working on carts, stalls, and footpaths in our cities even before Modi came to power. Most of them come from villages, from the SC/ST/OBC communities, and a large number of them are our sisters. But the PM Swannidhi scheme connected them to formal banking.”
