I've had my eye on hardshell/clamshell roof top tents for a while but the prices have always been over my budget. While perusing Amazon on black Friday I saw this tent pop up for $999 with free shipping. The seller had zero reviews but I figured I'd roll the dice. The tent arrived in less than a week and appears to be pretty well built.

After a closer look, the tracks in the top are also aluminum.
