Star Wars has introduced us to some extremely memorable villains over the years, but in some cases, it’s clear that less is more. Some characters who only appear on screen for a few minutes in the films have become fan favorites, like the bounty hunter Boba Fett or the Sith apprentice Darth Maul. With his diabolical appearance and double-sided red lightsaber, Maul cast a striking image in The Phantom Menace, with even the movie’s harshest critics pointing out that he was a highlight.
