Rob Gilbert is Professor of Biophysics and directs the graduate programme within Oxford University's Nuffield Department of Medicine, a major centre for vaccine and drug discovery, epidemiology and global health research. He also serves as Associate Priest in the parish of Headington Quarry, and is the author of Science and the Truthfulness of Beauty (Routledge, 2017).
