------------------------
This video is a follow up to the original video I released 6 months back (prior to this).

The original video I showed you how you could get rid of the squeak that comes from the clutch fork. This may also chirp (like a bird) on idle. The clutch fork moves on a clutch pivot ball, clutch pivot head or joint. Over time the grease here can dry up, more so if the rubber boot cover is damanged or missing. Thus you have a clutch pivot ball noise or clutch pivot ball squeak when you press the clutch pedal.

In my case here, the clutch fork boot seal had ripped from one side, thus allowing dust to enter inside. This caused the pivot joint inside to dry up, causing the squeaking sound. If you notice deteroiation or the clutch fork boot seal is torn, replace it.

Originally I used Liquimoly LM47 grease. This is a molybdenum grease and the Honda service manual states to used molybdenum grease between the clutch slave piston rod and the fork. So I assumed it was fine also for the internal pivot head point. However that proved ineffective as time went on. The squeak kept returning. It got worse as the weather warmed and the humidty levels dropped. After some research I found that Honda have their own super high temp urea grease. This Honda super high temp urea grease is the right grease for pivot joints, clutch fork joints. Its very thick and tacky and it will last a long time.

In my case the squeak is still there. But its very minimal and I feel that clutch pedal is now smooth. Previously with the LM47 grease, the pedal was not smooth and the sound was worse.

Grease also needs to be applied between the clutch slave piston rod head and the clutch fork. As this is exposed the grease will dry up quicker and this will also be a squeak source point. The Honda urea grease is also perfect for this area.
