It’s kind of embarrassing, but honestly the reason I really decided to put Newcastle Upon Tyne on our itinerary for our Northeast England trip was because I loved the Vera TV programme! As often happens, though, we got to Newcastle and discovered it is full of interesting places, people and food! Who thought we would rent bicycles in a morgue? Or wander around among cows?
