The OEM Tesla Model Y wireless charger is a poor attempt at integrating Qi wireless charging to the vehicle. It simply is rendered useless due to its poor penetration of phone cases. Aftermarket options are available to improve on the original design, in order to charge phones in their native state aka with a phone case on.
