Russell Crowe is an Academy Award-winning actor, often considered one of Hollywood's most gifted performers. Born in New Zealand in 1964, Crowe moved to Australia at a young age and found success in television before breaking into film. His acclaimed roles in L.A. Confidential, Gladiator, A Beautiful Mind, and The Insider earned him a Best Actor Oscar in 2001.
