Volkswagen showcased its first electric offering for India, the ID.4, at the annual brand conference in Jaipur. The ID.4 is scheduled to be launched later this year. The event also featured the unveiling of the latest dark and sporty additions to VW’s Taigun lineup, including the new GT Plus Sport and a new Taigun GT Line powered by the 1.0L TSI petrol engine, available with 6-speed automatic and manual transmission options.

With the new introductions, the Taigun lineup now offers three trim plans: ‘GT Edge’, ‘Chrome’, and ‘Sport’. However, Volkswagen also made it clear that depending on market feedback, the variants can be rationalized.

Additionally, a sporty concept for the Virtus sedan was presented, featuring black aesthetics.
