►Engines need air to mix with their fuel to create the combustion that results in horsepower and torque. However, dirty and dusty air is detrimental to everything inside an engine. Engine air filters keep that air clean, so replacing them when dirty is critical to smooth operation. Luckily, the filters are inexpensive, and replacement is very simple.
