It's already scaled for printing on 8.5"x11" paper, so there are two halves. Just print them both out, overlap them, and tape them together. If you do have scaling problems, just be sure to maintain the 3.625" dimension for the post-hole. This design will accommodate most 7" plastic pots, but sizing may vary; there's still room to make mild adjustments by reducing or increasing the size of the pot-hole diameter. Assuming 3/4" plywood material, you have strength to spare.

About my pattern:
It was made from 0.19" aluminum trim coil. Coil can be cut to extremely high tolerances, and it is ideal for pencil-tracing. As a pattern, it keeps its shape well, and it's easy to store. Handy stuff. I buy trim coil in a 2'x50' roll, but if you know a contractor, they will likely have some scraps sitting around for you. Note: typical fascia is thicker material than the average coil stock, and so it's harder to shape. Expect a future video about break work.

I also applied spray adhesive to one side of the pattern for friction- not enough to make it stick, just enough to prevent sliding while tracing. Remember, saved seconds add up: it's not overboard to make a good pattern for a project that you intend to batch out, or for one that you expect to make again someday.

Title:
As for the not-too-tasteful alliterative pun, excuse it. But I fear that it will go largely unnoticed by a mass constrained by its historical ignorance, so I've allowed it to remain as a piece of pointed satirical commentary; if you don't know who the monstrous Pol Pot was (the once leader of the genocidal Khmer Rouge), then consider yourself to be the butt of my tragic joke. We might do well to mind our place in the great context: the gravity of our cultural centrality is an illusory one, as it affects only those caught in its tiny well. We, the present victims of localized "terror," oft forget the pains of the past, many of which pale our present discomforts- except that they no longer freshly resonate in our minds and ears.

On a much lighter note, here's another egg for you description readers: v=TDBE9wD7nMQ
More of a gem, really. If you want to investigate it, just place this code into the address bar at the top of your screen, right after the place where it says 'watch?' (and don't add any spaces).
