■ Ferrari’s race pace in Suzuka did not disappoint at all after a questionable pair of qualifying that put Sainz and Leclerc at P4 and P8, but considering the fact that Leclerc pulled off a one-stopper in a race that eats up the tyres quite a lot, it goes to show that the improvement in the SF-24 are vastly superior. On top of that, they have not even brought a full upgrade package—the one that was originally planned to be speed up for Suzuka was pushed back for Imola, and after the latest statements from Sainz and Vasseur, as well as comparing the deficit from last year’s Suzuka race, Ferrari do have a lot to look forward to in the remainder of the 2024 campaign!
