This model year introduces a more aggressive design with a new front fascia and grille, improved approach angles due to a redesigned grille, and practical features such as front tow hooks. The XRT trim also features 18-inch wheels and all-terrain tires, better suited for off-road activities, alongside a host of new wheel designs across the model range.

Inside, the Santa Cruz now boasts dual 12.3-inch screens behind a single pane of glass, addressing past complaints about touch controls by adding more physical switches for audio and climate settings. Technological upgrades include wireless phone projection across all trims, over-the-air update capabilities, and new safety features like a Forward Attention Warning to alert drivers when their attention may drift.

The powertrain options remain the same, with a standard 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine producing 191 horsepower, and an optional 2.5-liter turbocharged engine with 281 horsepower, paired with an 8-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission and standard all-wheel drive.

The Santa Cruz continues to blend the comfort and ease of a crossover with the utility of a truck, enhanced by these thoughtful updates and new tech integrations.
