I love the possibilities offered by 3D printing! Along with my laser cutter and my CNC machine, they allow me to create pretty much anything I want for my RC cars, regardless of which scale they're in. So far, I have had a lot of fun printing with my FDM printer, but I didn't find resin printer really enjoyable. Until now!

Resin printers can be tricky to set up: they need to be perfectly level; the resin needs to be filled properly and cleaning them is a nightmare. Not with this new HeyGears UltraCraft Reflex!
I've been successfully printing parts in various shapes and sizes for the past few months, and I have only had successful prints using this machine and the other elements in their setup.

The UltraCraft Reflex auto fills the resin tub and monitors the level. The layer thickness is adjusted in accordance with the resin used. To ensure a good and solid start of each print, there is Intelligent Assisted Leveling, getting the print to stick to the industrial grade build plate every single time. The BluePrint software sends the sliced file to your machine via WiFi, once it has assisted you in orienting and supporting the file of your choice.

Once parts are printed, they get washed in the HeyGears washing station to eventually be transferred to the last machine, a dual UV-wavelength curing station, which can even heat your parts to up to 60 degrees Celsius, to get your paint to cure along with your print.

This machine range is fantastic and has taken away my fear of failed resin prints forever!
