The Cadillac Escalade has long been the brand's flagship, its massive size and muscular aesthetics proclaiming the brand's extroverted, red-blooded American approach to luxury. Despite sharing its foundations with the Chevy Tahoe and Suburban, as well as the GMC Yukon, the Escalade makes a strong argument against other large luxury SUVs such as the Lincoln Navigator, Jeep Grand Wagoneer, and Mercedes-BenzGLS-class.
This is due to the large Caddy's inclusion of the brand's most modern technologies and sumptuous amenities. Its inside is made of wood, leather, designer textiles, and satin-finished metals. A wide, curved display spans the dashboard, acting as both a gauge cluster and an infotainment hub. There are a variety of driver-assist options available, including Cadillac's outstanding Super Cruise system, which combines adaptive cruise control with a hands-free driving mode.
Buyers may select between a powerful 6.2-liter gasoline V-8 and a diesel-powered inline-six, and Cadillac is adding a crazy high-performance V-series variant with mega horsepower to the Escalade roster this year. Time will tell if the new hi-po Escalade is an elephant that can dance, but given Cadillac's recent Blackwing-powered cars, we're optimistic.
When we come to the x7, the x7 is an opulent three-row SUV, While its luggage room and rearmost seats aren't as large as the escalade, the BMW has better driving dynamics and an amazing engine lineup. They vary from a 375-hp turbo v6 to a 523-hp twin-turbo V-8, with the latter producing 630 horsepower on the top-of-the-line Alpina XB7.
All versions have all-wheel drive and adjustable air suspension for a pillow-like ride. The inside of the 2023 X7 is calm, but it's also filled with expensive materials and cutting-edge technology, including as the dash's massive curved glass display. These features, along with the X7's towing capacity and a slew of standard active-safety measures, elevate the largest BMW to the top of the class
