I went looking for the small but impressive Genji Waterfall one sunny January morning. Genji Waterfall is in the forested mountains of Katano, a small city in Ōsaka Prefecture, Japan. The waterfall, nearly 18 meters high and tucked away in a small corner down a small path, is said to be haunted. If you visit at night, you may hear ghostly crying and weeping coming from the rocks around the waterfall. The story of how the ghosts began is a tragic and violent one. What a spooky place!
