In 1949, the Atomic Energy Commission announced it would build the National Reactor Testing Station on the Naval Proving Ground in eastern Idaho, marking the beginning of what is today's Idaho National Laboratory. This year, we are celebrating 75 years of excellence in science, engineering and innovation.
