Personally I have been drifting for 20 years and I have never had a weekend so eye opening. I have spent weekends swapping engines multiple times, showed up at events where if we don't win we don't have money to go to the next round, totaled out my car and crashed or blown up someone else's car, trailer fires, trucks blowing up, etc etc. But I have never had a weekend where drifting has been so many different feelings in one weekend. The weather, the drama, the team, the car, the competitors, and many other things just didn't jive well this weekend and I mostly blame myself for that. I care and love so much about drifting that sometimes I just walked away from the event not understanding what even happened. Im selfishly glad Adam won the event because it's really great to see that best driver on that day actually won. It's actually more rare than you think for this to happen with how complicated this sport has become. Congrats to Adam and the team for making it a Three Peat. I can't wait to experience St. Louis as I have a much different mindset of what Formula Drift is now.
