This drive allowed me to rejoin the Blue Ridge Parkway near the same spot where I left it, the day before. I was staying in Cherokee, so to begin the day I headed east on US 74 and Interstate 40, then took North Carolina 151 south, which connects with the Blue Ridge Parkway southwest of Asheville. Alont the way, the towns of Waynesville and Candler. We'll end at Buck Springs Gap on the Blue Ridge Parkway.

I made this trip during the fall colors in October 2023.
