As the era of samurai rule comes to an end, the Bakumatsu period arrives. Those known as ninja have become outdated relics of the past. One day, Ryu's true identity is uncovered, and Katsu Kaishuu recruits him, entrusting him with a secret mission. Soon, pursued by Satsuma Clan's retainers, a mysterious practitioner of Ryukyuan martial arts named Shou is unleashed.
