With the advent of GMAT Focus edition, the scoring patterns and percentiles have changed significantly. The new GMAT contains three sections that are weighted equally and therefore sectional scores have become ever more significant. Without considering sectional scores, if a GMAT student compares the GMAT Focus score with the GMAT classic percentile, it is going to be a wrong comparison and it can put GMAT students in great trouble.
